A new member of the family!!!!!

WELL AFTER MONTHS OF BEGGING AND ALAN AND I THINKING WE FINALLY WENT OUT ON A LIMB AND ADDED A MEMBER TO OUR FAMILY. A 4 LEGGED MEMBER THAT IS!!!! ON OCTOBER 18TH WE ADOPTED A PUGLE PUPPY HER NAME IS ZOEY. SHE IS PART PUG PART BEAGLE. SHE IS SO CUTE AND THE KIDS WERE SO HAPPY. THEY ALL DO REALLY GOOD WITH HER AND SHARE THE CHORES THAT GO ALONG WITH HER. I MUST SAY THAT WHEN I SAW HER I KNEW THAT WE HAD TO HAVE HER!!!

THE 1ST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! ALL MOTHERS LOOK FORWARD TO THIS!

School has started again all mothers love that 1st day by the end of summer the kids are going stir crazy and so am I. They are at each others necks and can't wait to see all there friends. Tyler is now in 4th grade and Mariah is in 1st Kaitlyn is doing home base head start and was very upset when she could not get on the bus with her brother and sister. She has a backpack that she carries all over and on the 1st day of school she had it all packed to go with her baby and blanket in there along with a book and some crayons....you have to love kids they are so sweet and special and they grow up so fast.

IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON GO FALCONS!!!!!

Tyler is playing pop warner football this year and he loves it. He is a guard and for his 1st year i think he does a good job. Football started in August and gets done the end of October. Right now he practices 3 nights a week and has a game every Sunday. The pics that I am putting on are of his 1st scrimmage. I was not able to be there due to work but his dad took some pictures for me and he made his 1st tackle at this game. Way to go Tyler!!!!!

MARIAH'S GIRL SCOUT TRIP TO SIX FLAGS

On June 20 mariah and I went on her girl scout trip to Lake George where we stayed for 2 nights at the girl scout lodge and we spent a day at Six Flags. There were about 18 girls that went on this trip we all had a great time. The weather was beautiful the day that we were at the park with temps in the 80's.

THE KIDS AT CAMP

When we are at camp the kids have a great big extended family up there. They have so much fun doing all sorts of things. Kaitlyn is everyones little love bug and she never stays clean. Mariah like to ride her bike and they all love swimming. Tyler likes to go visit with the camper across the road and watch him do his wood work and he has met another camper that has been showing him how to carve. There is always something for them to do.

WHAT HAPPENS AT CAMP STAYS AT CAMP....UNTIL NOW

This is what happens when people start drinking and have crazy ideas. On memorial day we were all getting ready for a big cook out when Alan decided that he wanted a hair cut...he wanted to be completely BALD!!!! He had only had a couple drinks when they did this, so maybe it was the pain meds that he was on for his hand. So these are the pictures that I got to take during the hair cut and the afters with him and Fred. I am glad that I don't drink...lol

We are off to camp!!!

Here is a quick note just for you sis...we are now camping pretty much most of the summer we have a season site at Cold Brook Campsites not far from where we live but close enough to still go back and forth to work. So let me give you a brief recap of what has happened so far....the day we towed our camper up there we hit a root and broke the hitch jack...next the side jacks would not come down....then as we are trying to block the camper it starts to slide off the blocks and goes right for Alan all I know is that Jay said you should have seen his face....then finally we get it all blocked up and ready to go and there is a water leak!!!!!!!! this should have been a sign right?! So anyway we camped up there for 9 nights so far and I did not have my camera yet but I will be taking it up this weekend to get some pictures oh and don't think that everything has been perfect at the house either. We stayed home the last 2 nights and last night I went down in the basement to get something out of the freezer for dinner only to find that the freezer tripped the breaker and had quit everything was thawed and spoiled and I mean bad we are not even sure when it happened. So I promise to take lots of pics this weekend and put them on sometime next week.

Dealing with the flu!!!

This year has been a terrible flu year in our house it all started in Feb when Alan woke up on a Monday morning and felt awful so the good wife that I am I took him to the see the doc...he stayed home for 2 days from work on Thursday our son woke up with it and was home from school for 3 days in the mean time Alan doesnt get any better in fact he gets worse. For 5 weeks this goes on and then I end up getting it just when I thinkk its gone Mariah ends up with it. I had no more then gotten to work when our daycare center called to say she was sick and I know this is awful but I had to take some pictures of her just so people could see how sick she was...oh and knock on wood Kaitlyn never got it.

HI allow me to tell you a little bit about us. My name is Sandy and my husband is Alan. We were married on January 7th 1998. Together we have 3 of the most beautiful kids ( i can say that because they are mine lol) I am new to this blogging my sister does it all the time and i love hers so bear with me and hopefully i will get better...and to be completely honnest i am starting this now so that when we get back from a big Florida trip in Feb. 2009 I will be good at it.
