A little bit of our summer fun

Well our summer got off to a rocky start...I had surgery in july that laid me up for a few weeks but we still tried to get a few fun things done over the summer before school started. We took a trip to Ogdensburg, did a lot of camping including a second weekend in the tent which by the way it was a beautiful weekend and there was not a drop of RAIN!!!!! I also took the kids to Enchanted Forest one day. School has started so there will be pictures of that too!!! Last weekend Mariah and I went on a girl scout trip and had a blast as well....I would have to say that the highlight of the girl scout trip was in the middle of the night when I fell down the steps of our lean too...that was great :)~ All in all I think that we had a great summer I no longer am working every weekend so that made it nice too!!! We were able to do so much more. My kids are growing up so fast it is so hard to believe that Kaitlyn "my baby" is now in head start it still seems wierd having all the kids gone during the day! In a few days Alan and I are taking a mom & dad trip to Buffalo to watch a football game...we will miss the kids but all parents need a couple of days away!!!!

A weekend in the tent :)

A few weeks ago I told Alan that I wanted to get the tent out and go tenting with the kids. We have not been camping in a tent since Mariah was a baby. So finally I made reservations and i got Alan to go. It would have been perfect if it were not for the 4 letter word that starts with "R". You got it rain...it rained after I got everything set up (Alan had to work and did not come up until 6pm). A little rain would have been ok but it came down in buckets we were WET!!!! Saturday there was some rain but not nearly as bad and of course today when we packed to leave it was beautiful! Well we had fun just the same. The kids went swimming, rode bikes and fed the chipmunks. All in all it was a good family weekend I just wish we could have more of them maybe soon things will change and i wont be working every weekend.

Well somehow i twisted the picture and cant get it back lol!! This is my first baseman. He does very well and we are so proud of hi. He is also a pretty good hitter another reason that we are proud of him. Way to go Tyler!!!!!

Oh its been a long time since I added anything

Well its been so long since I have added anything so here is an update on the kids. Tyler is now playing baseball and plays the drums in the school band. Mariah is in girl scouts and will be playing T-ball. Kaitlyn is just being her loving old self it is amazing how someone so little can have a heart so big. She can make the worst day all better with a smile and a hug. I love my kids so much they are my life and every decission that Alan and I make in life is based on the what the outcome will be for the kids. It's so hard to believe that another year of school is ending and that in September Kaitlyn will be going to school. That will be so bitter sweet
